The M Lazy C Ranch is a family owned
working Colorado cattle ranch homesteaded just over 100
years ago. Just 35 miles west of Colorado Springs and the
front range of the Rocky Mountains, the dude ranch is
nestled in a high mountain valley surrounded by pine and
aspen forests with access to thousands of acres of
National Forest. The M Lazy C is the perfect setting for
all types of Western fun and activities. |

The 8 guest cabins were originally
built for the homesteads working cowboys and restored for
the ranches modern day guests. All cabins feature
authentic western accommodations and have front porches
that allow you to enjoy a warm cup of coffee in the
morning, or a sunset in the evening. Most of the cabins
have a romantic wood burning stove, and all have in-room
coffee, microwave and small refrigerators and decorative
antiques. Making them a warm, cozy and inviting place to
stay year round.
Breakfast is included in the room rate
for all but the Prospector and Rustler and is served
buffet style in the main dining hall.
The ranch also has RV sites for guest
use that include electricity, water, and some that include
a sewer. For Equestrian guests, there are 12x12 and 16x16
outdoor pens and unlimited access to trails in the Pike
National Forest with a wide variety of terrain and
panoramic views of Pikes Peaks and the Lost Creek
Wilderness Area. There is also a primitive camping area
for larger groups with wall tents, as well as primitive RV
sites.
Activities are endless at the ranch -
enjoy Horseback Riding, Packtrips, Cattle Drives, Hay /
Carriage / Sleigh Rides, Shooting Range, Chuck Wagon
Dinner, arena games and rodeo, and fun activities and
entertainment around the campfire. The ranch will host
corporate events and retreats as well as western weddings. |

On Tuesday night all the guests at the
ranch are invited to a "build your own" ice cream
social; or you can pick from several other activities on the
ranch, including cattle drives, overnight pack trips, and a
cowboy action shooting range.
As an overnight guest at the ranch, you can
do as much or as little as you like. Whether guests sit around
the campfire, lounge in the hot tub, or relax on the porch of
one of the cabins they are struck by the grandeur of the Milky
Way and serenaded by the creaking pines. The ranch has a
volleyball net, horseshoe pits, roping dummies, and miles and
miles of hiking.
Whether you are interested in staying in
one of the ranches historic log cabin, an afternoon's worth of
horseback riding, or you just 'wanna get outta town', the M
Lazy C has plenty to offer guests of every age.
