January in Sonoma Valley can be quite beautiful. The sky is often crystal clear, the air is crisp and the country side green. Most wineries are always open as well as restaurants and shops.

February brings more color, especially yellow, to the valley as the mustard flowers cover the orchards and vineyards, daffodils spring up in a cheerful greeting and acacia start to burst.

Rain is good in March and what better way to spend an evening, than in a charming bed & breakfast with a glass of wine and a caring loved one. Cherry blossoms are joined by other early spring foliage ...ah the Valley of the Moon is beautiful any time of year.

This is the perfect place to go to feel the wind in you hair, the sun on your face and a spring in your step as you take advantage of all the splendor of the Valley ... a jug of wine, a loaf of bread and thou....

OK, Now is the time to get out of your office, grab your honey (or your mom) and take a picnic to Sonoma Valley. Wineries, jazz festivals, restaurants and ballooning. Or, just go fly a kite ... its all here!

June is busting out all over the Valley...the sun is warmer and the days are getting longer and the celebrations and festivals are more plentiful! Take Dad to the raceway and then show him some great wineries!

Barbecues! Shakespeare! Jazz! Farmers Markets. There is so much to do here in the Valley. Golf, tennis, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, and eating! And after a busy day a relaxing night at a charming inn.

Summer races, the wine country film festival are just some of the things visitors talk about in August. Come see for yourself what summer in the Valley is all about ....bring your friends!

Harvest time in the Valley is very special. The grapes dangle heavy on the vines, the sweet aromas of the fermentation and excitement is everywhere. Wine auctions, harvest festivals, antique treasures can all be found here.

The joyful harvest celebration continues along with the great weather. Grape leaves turn various shades of color while gardens show their luscious splendor.

You need to plan early if you want to enjoy this beautiful valley for Thanksgiving. The harvest bounty from the many gardens and farms in the area make this a season filled with thankfulness.

The Sonoma Plaza looks like a wonderland at Christmas with its holiday decorations and lights. Don't forget to plan way ahead for New Years! Bring in the year 2000 in the Valley of the Moon!
