A National Register Landmark built in 1905, The Gables Inn Bed and Breakfast invites couples of all ages to experience an unforgettable romantic rendezvous amidst the rolling hills of beautiful central Arkansas.

Located just four blocks from historic downtown Hot Springs and a welcome hotel alternative, this 1905 Victorian Inn features luxurious quarters at affordable rates. Known as the inn "where memories are made," the Gables has received critical acclaim in several leading publications, including the Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News, Country Inns and 50 Plus Magazine.

The inn's Victorian design is complemented by the antiques that fill the main house. Each of four lodging accommodations comes with a private bathroom, sitting area, stained glass window, cable television, VCR, digital CD system, telephone, coffee pot and small refrigerator. Ask about rooms with heart-shaped whirlpool tubs for two or antique clawfoot tubs.

The bed and breakfast specializes in small elegant weddings of up to 20 guests. Innkeepers Judy and David Peters provide everything from two-tier wedding cakes to bridal bouquets. The Peters also customize packages for other special occasions, including honeymoons and anniversaries. Sentimental sojourns at the Gables include everything from dinner cruises and horseback riding to gourmet chocolates, candles and deluxe massages.

A hearty breakfast is served daily in the main dining room, and complimentary drinks are made available throughout the day.

With all that Hot Springs has to offer, guests never run out of things to do. Fine dining, antique shops, art galleries, museums and various entertainment venues are all within waling distance. Several lakes, nearby mountains and the Ouachita National Forest are ideal for swimming, boating and hiking.

The area also includes several tennis courts, riding stables and golf courses, as well as an amusement park, water park, horse track, dinner cruise and scenic botanical garden.
