Wild Boar Ham Steaks
Remove ham steaks from refrigerator and pat dry with paper towels. Add remaining ingredients to a heavy Ziploc bag, seal and mix thoroughly. Add ham steaks and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours. Remove meat from refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking. Keep in marinade until ready to cook. Save marinade mixture.
Grill over medium heat 4 minutes per side. Cook by sautéing over medium heat 4 minutes per side. Add marinade to small saucepan and simmer until reduced to 1/2 original volume. This should yield thick syrup. If too thin dissolve 1 teaspoon cornstarch in cold water. Add to mixture and boil for 1 minute. Serve over grilled ham steaks.
